This practice is committed to quality design and ensuring that every client receives the best design solution possible. To ensure that this is carried out they hold regular meetings to discuss projects allowing for the cross-fertilisation of ideas and they also value feedback from contractors and construction professionals. They are part of a larger multidisciplinary group which provides civil, structural and highways engineering services.
The practice works in most sectors and has worked on many prestigious listed and historic building renovations converting them for various uses. Their work in the residential sector varies from high rise city living blocks to bespoke one off designs and they have won awards for work in various sectors. They also work on retail parks for major brands, health and education facilities and a major project for the British Library.
In addition to a competitive salary this practice also offer a good package which includes a 5.5% pension contribution, health insurance with a discounted rate for spouses and 20 days holiday with a Christmas shutdown. Long service is also rewarded with an extra day`s holiday for every 3 years of service to a maximum of 5 extra days. Experienced staff may also receive a company car and phone. There is a qualifying period for some of these additional benefits of 9 months.
An increase in workload for this practice means that they now have a requirement for an Architectural Technologist*Technician to join them.
This medium sized practice works on large residential projects, high rise offices and prestigious mixed-use commercial schemes. They work nationwide but the majority of their projects are Yorkshire-based and they have won awards for office and residential schemes.
